Lake Sweet Home 5 is in Acquaseria, a small town on Lake Como shore, only 5 minutes by car or public bus from Menaggio.
Lake Sweet Home 5 is walking distance from the beautiful lakeshores. A cozy and new location, furnished with care and taste, one bedroom with queen-size bed ( 160x 200 cm) with an equipped kitchen with microwave oven and refrigerator, smart TV with flat screen and satellite channels, one bathroom with shower ( shower kit with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion , soap and shower gel are at your disposal), bidet. For your convenience we provide you bath towels and bed linen with an extra charge. The apartment has a beautiful terrace furnished with table and chairs.

The surrounding area gives you the possibility to enjoy at the best your vacation: hiking, cycling (both mountain biking and road cycling), fishing, wind surf, kite surf, wing foil, diving, exclusive lake tours by private boat or by regular ferries.
The small town of Acquaseria is quiet and relaxing, amazing wide stone beaches and very clear waters, the best part of Lake Como to swim and experience lake life.
Very close to your accommodation there are supermarkets, pubs, local restaurants, an eco water house where you can fill your water bottles saving plastic, both sparkling and still water is available for cheap prices.
The Alto Lario (Northern Lake Como) is an area of historical and cultural interest. Going direction north by your car, public buses or taxis, you easly reach the places that saw the end of World War II and interesting and precious medieval churches which testify to the meaning of the local Romanesque art, typical mountain villages where you can taste Km 0 local food and wines and much more to explore. The town of Menaggio is only 5 minutes away, here you can board the several public boats (also car ferries) to cruise the whole lake and visit the most famous towns such as Bellagio, the “Pearl” of Lake Como, Varenna on the eastern shore and the amazing ancient Villas with their lush gardens: Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, Villa Melzi, Villa Monstero and if you wish lead down to Como.
The public parking places close to the residence and spread in the town are mostly free. In your apartment you have all what you could need, WiFi internet, Alexa voice assistance, smart TV, hair dryer, laundry rack, iron and ironing board, crockery and complete kitchen equipment, safe box, and by request portable cot/crib, changing table and high chair free of charge. A free of charge covered parking space ( 195 cm wide) is available by request.
Sweet Home 5 is 33 Km from Lugano ( Switzerland) ,40 Km from Como, 55 Km from the International airport of Orio Al Serio (Bergamo), the closest airport,

reachable by charged shuttle bus.
Important to remeber:
Limited power supply: in Italy the power supply is limited (3,5KW), please do not use all the electrical facilities at the same time (avoid using microwave and stove at the same time).
In summer please close the windows’ curtains when you are out to keep a not too hot inside temperature and switch off the AC to save energy.
